Corporate Associate - Boston
We are seeking an associate with 3+ years of private equity transactional experience to join our corporate M&A practice in New York or Boston.
Candidates must have experience with acquisitions, divestitures, mergers and joint ventures, private equity funds and financial institutions.
Candidates must have the ability to provide efficient legal service both independently and as part of a team, be willing to quickly integrate into our robust national corporate practice, commit to providing the highest quality of client service in support of a broad range of complex transactions and be dedicated to professional development consistent with this on-track partnership position.
Strong academic credentials, excellent critical reasoning skills and the ability to communicate complex legal concepts are required.
Qualifications
Graduated with a JD or LLM from an ABA-accredited law schoolMust be admitted or eligible for admission in New York or MassachusettsMust have 3+ years of M&A and private equity transactional experienceExcellent written and oral communication skillsProfessionalism in working and engaging with clients and colleaguesAbility to prioritize, meet deadlines and balance competing responsibilitiesAbility to stay organized and exercise extreme attention to detailAbility to collaborate and work effectively in team settings
