Assist Fiduciary Litigation/Family law Relations Practice
New client intake: run conflict check, open new client matters, prepare engagement letter, create Outlook contact for all new clients.
Manage timekeeper’s calendar. Schedule appointments, meetings, stenographers, conference room reservations.
Save pleadings to document management system and maintain internal pleadings and discovery books (both paper and electronic).
Calendar dates and invite paralegals/attorneys to all scheduled events on case.
Prepare and process client bills using Aderant Expert software. Review, edit, prepare and proofread pre-bills and invoices. Ensure client bills are sent out accurately and on time. Maintain updated contacts, client/matter and active case lists.
Create, edit and compile large, complex heavily formatted documents. Prepare documents from draft or dictated format.
Oversee and coordinate filings with family and probate courts.
Answer telephone; screen and process incoming calls.
Open to general Administrative Assistant as in floater. roll.
Three plus years of experience, preferably in litigation, fiduciary and or family law helpful.
Attention to detail with ability and customer service orientationAbility to work well in teamsStrong written and verbal communication skills, be extremely organized and efficient, and have the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Excellent computer skills including Outlook and Word are required.
