Litigation Paralegal Boston, MA
Boston firm is seeking an experienced, business-minded, and self-motivated paralegal to support a variety of commercial business litigation transactions. The paralegal will be an integral member of the litigation practice group.
Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the litigation group on a range of contracts, general business litigation and commercial agreements.Draft, review, and interpret agreements.Prepare summaries of agreementsDraft correspondence and provide analyses to legal colleagues.Work collaboratively with legal and business teams to ensure matter completion and timeliness.Participate in internal and external meetings to better understand objectives.Partner with legal colleagues to improve processes, policies, and efficiency.Assist attorneys with deposition preparation and depositions.Review and analyze discovery documents to assist in filing discovery motions.Perform other duties as necessary.Bachelor's degree and/or paralegal certificate preferred.Minimum of 2 years of relevant in-house or law firm paralegal experience.Experience reviewing, drafting, and preparing correspondence to clients.Strong interpersonal and communication skills, strong business judgment, attention to detail, and team orientation.Proficiency with Microsoft Word. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel preferred.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle a high volume of work, and prioritize competing deadlines.
